The professionals at nomadlist.com studied the cities with the most check-ins on their websites over the past two years to determine the remote work centers with the fastest growth rate.
They found that in 2022 alone, the number of people working remotely in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, increased by +369%, and in 2023 it was +252%. That shouldn’t be surprising, given what the city has to offer. Among its many attractions are its creative architecture, ancient temples, vibrant culture, and delicious cuisine.
